Our Wedding

How we met:

Daniel was in the Marines and was stationed in Yuma, Arizona. We met through a mutual friend of ours named Brian who I went to high school in Torrance. They were roommates in the Marines. Daniel and all his Marine friends would come down and stay with Brian in L.A. almost every weekend. I met Daniel at welcome home party right after they had just returned from their first tour to Iraq. The first thing that came to mind was how cute he was and how much I loved his blue eyes. It was over from there. We started dating on May 15, 2004.

I would make weekend trips out to Yuma, AZ as much as I could, and Daniel would make trips to L.A. as much as the Marines would let him. After dating for 2 years and going through an 8 month deployment, Daniel was about to get out of the Marines and return to Rochester. We tried a long distance relationship for 9 months, but it was just too hard. It was the biggest decision of my life, but I made the move in June of 2006. It was the best decision I've ever made in my life, but it wasn't easy. Being away from my family has it's trying times, but I believe this is where I'm supposed to be. We're so happy starting our lives together and we can't wait to start our own little family.

Our Wedding Day:

We got married on October 15, 2010 in Rochester, NY. The day was grey, rainiy, cold and perfect. It was the happiest day of my life so far. My best friend in the entire world who I am so in love with became mine forever. I felt like I was dreaming all day long. My family from all over the U.S flew in for our wedding, it was amazing to have everyone I love in th same room on the happiest day of my life. Here are some of my favorite pictures of the day!
